Selecion/search of byte sequences in a Diff Window?

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to allow selections of byte sequences in a Diff Window as it would be super helpful to check for certain lengths and/or interpreted value of that selection just like it's already possible in a Normal Window.
I'm also missing a search feature to be able to search for strings, hex, etc. values.

I sounds feasible since all the components like search and selection are already implemented. I added it to the ticket system.
